The Parish extends to Cuttifords Door to the South, Eleighwater to the east, Ham to the north and Beetham to the west. It is set in lovely countryside, situated on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have a thriving population of approximately 1400 people.

The village of Combe St. Nicholas is situated in the centre of the parish and fortunate in having a Post Office, general store, hairdresser and two pubs. The school is adjacent to the fine 15th century church. The other main centre of population is the hamlet of Wadeford between Combe village and Chard. The whole area affords places to stay, together with food available at the pubs and local restaurants.

Taunton, the county town, is easy to reach by car or bus. It has many leading retailers and places of entertainment, including the Brewhouse Theatre.
