Lynch has now resigned as Leader, but the Club will continue but
with only one session and the help of parents on a rolling duty

13/11 MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting
held on 23rd May 2011 were approved as a true record, and
signed,
14/11 VILLAGE HALL
The kitchen refurbishment will cost
£15,000 and so far £3540 has been raised, with the help of £2000
from Village Hall reserves, £800 from the Gala Assoc. and £200
from monthly coffee mornings. Other organisations have pledged
various donations. Cloverleaf Productions have offered to
dismantle the current kitchen, saving £500. A leaflet has been
distributed throughout the whole Parish so unknown contributions
from this appeal. An application for a grant from S.S.D.C. needs
to be in by August if possible, and amount pledged or given will
affect this grant. It was resolved unanimously to donate £1500
to this fund. Rosemary Yarrow declared prejudicial interest
15/11 UNDERWAY MEADE
Following a recent visit to the Meade
by Councillors a further report was given. This Community asset
is run by a Charitable Trust. After discussion and various
suggestions re grass keep, more promotion for usage of the
Meade, together with the new picnic area, it was resolved
unanimously to donate £200. Mr.Sayers declared a prejudicial
interest.

18/11 PLAY EQUIPMENT THE LAWNS
John White. - 60 metres, costing £90,
of tanalised wood will be needed for replacing the worn edges
around the safer surfacing. Individual letters requesting
volunteers will be sent out.
The Holly trees on the eastern side of
The Lawns have been trimmed. Letter of thanks received from
adjoining neighbour.
19/11 SCHOOL CAR PARK
A meeting with Governors and Parish
Councillors will be arranged shortly. Proper technical engineer
will be needed to repair current parking area. Just hardcore
will not solve the problem. Lease still not in place with the
Church Authorities. Cars are still being parked in the village
centre.

S.S.D.C. New Dog Control Order
notices Notices re Dogs must be on Leads on land owned by
S.S.D.C. and Parish Councils come into force on 1st July if
directed by an authorised officer of the council.
22/11 RELIEF IN NEED CHARITY
Election due this year for Founder
Trustee, currently Frank Edwards. Mr.Edwards is willing to be
re-elected. Agreed. Mr.Selley, Charity Correspondent, offered to
give a report to new Councillors for information. His offer
accepted, and letter to be sent.

Report sent in by P.C.S.O.Ben Samways No crime recorded for
this Parish, but warnings about lead thefts from churches, etc.
Shed thefts in Buckland St.Mary area.
